Update End of Year 2019

I’m really thankful for the love and support you have shown to Kristina and me this past year. We have had a fruitful and fulfilling year of ministry.

We are expecting to get a message in the next few weeks for Kristina to head to the hospital for a heart transplant. As soon as the new transplant center opens at Banner University Hospital in Phoenix, the doctors told us she will be one of the first ten transplants. Her spirit has been strong by the grace of God, but her heart is weak even with meds being pumped into her veins 24/7. We have anxiety about her upcoming operation because it has many challenges. However, our prayer support, and knowing that she has a good chance to get significant energy back with a new heart gives us hope.

Starting in January, I’ll only serve Living Streams as a consultant, so I’ll focus full time on my ministry to pastors and leaders. It is a big change for me to be completely out of a church staff position for the first time since 1973. Because of the support I receive from you and several friends, I can serve leaders without charging for pastoral counseling or consulting for their ministries. This is really important because often leaders who need ministry the most are not in a position to afford to pay for it.

My ministry is focused on bringing wisdom and encouragement to leaders so that they can prosper in the midst of the pressures they face. Almost everyone feels they have bigger challenges than they have resources to face their challenges. We all need to learn how to trust God with our lives. I’ve learned some things the hard way and some things from divine revelation. I’d always prefer revelation, but regardless, any wisdom and grace we share can help someone else.

I’m praying for God to bless you and your family with the love of Christ, which is deep, wide, and powerful. I’m asking our Father in Heaven to give you a Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, so you can be filled with grace and peace continually. May God’s hope so fill you that you can face any trial with confidence it will work out for your good, and assurance you will triumph through the power which raised Christ from the dead and now abides within you.

Thank you again for believing in God’s calling in my life. We share in Christ’s work and his reward together.
